How does one of the finest teams on the leading edge of Apple, AI, and the Enterprise learn and grow? We surf!
Given we’re entering a transformative time where the Corporate market is going to adopt the Mac and Apple’s mobile platforms faster than they ever have, Appogee’s job is to maintain our role as the best partner to help customers get this done. Stay ahead of the wave if you will.
This was a chance to align our team and strategic partners on how to best serve our customers, share what we’re seeing in the industry, and make sure we’re positioned to continue to be the strategic Apple advisor to the market.
A Unique Moment in Apple’s Enterprise Story
Throughout the Summit, we collaborated with Apple, Jamf, Imprivata, Phobio, Ingram Micro, Vault and IPORT on the opportunities and challenges shaping our customers’ technology choices: AI and emerging tech, Mac in the enterprise, security, device lifecycle, and the changing needs of organizations adopting Apple technology at scale.
For Appogee CEO Tim Hassett, this moment carries particular weight. Appogee is an Apple Premium Business partner solely dedicated to Apple in the enterprise. Hassett believes Apple is entering a period of enterprise growth unlike anything the platform has seen before, driven in large part by AI.
“We are entering a time when Apple technology has an incredible opportunity for growth in the enterprise,” said Hassett. “As AI workloads move on-device, Apple’s hardware and platforms lead the industry in efficiency, speed, power consumption, and heat management – advantages that matter more now than ever. Our responsibility is to stay ahead of that wave so we can help our customers understand what’s coming, what it means for their business, and how to take advantage of it.”
Real Environments, Real Conversations
A Summit highlight was visiting IPORT Headquarters and experiencing the iOS Garage, a space where Apple devices, enterprise software, and purpose-built hardware come together across industry-specific environments. It gave our team and partners a chance to work through real customer workflows and dig into how the Apple ecosystem functions across industries.
As AI, Mac, and enterprise technology continue to evolve, customers need more than high-level conversations about what’s possible. They need specialists who understand their environment, can point to practical examples, and can turn new technology into a strategy that fits their business.
We also spent time on strategic account planning, customer conversations, and team collaboration – comparing notes on what we’re seeing in the field and making sure we’re all paddling in the same direction heading into the second half of the year.
Catching Waves, Literally
Since we were already in Southern California, we couldn’t talk about staying ahead of the wave without getting into the water. The team traded laptops for surfboards and hit the Pacific for some team building. Some caught waves. Some caught on eventually. Everyone came away with a good story – and a fitting metaphor for a company built on staying out in front.
A huge thank you to Apple, Jamf, Imprivata, Ingram Micro, Phobio, Vault, and IPORT for being part of the week and continuing to collaborate with our team.
Technology will keep changing. New waves will keep coming. We’ll keep doing what we’ve always done: staying out in front of them.
